What makes our approach unique?
We believe in the Power of Peers.
It was important fo Ben to be heard and for his opinions and thoughts to be respected. As a Foundation we enlist the insight and guidance of a Peer Board to steer philanthropy while our younger board members learn the intricacies of non-profits, grantmaking and board service. In the true spirit of our three pillars, we are building COMMUNITY, fostering EMPATHY and providing OPPORTUNITY.
GRANTS
The Foundation honors the life of Ben Wills by helping those in need through grants to qualified charitable organizations. Eligible recipients must be classified as a public charity in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and honor one or several of the Foundations's three pillars: Community, Empathy, Opportunity.
